The Minor Bantam Cobras picked up 4 Bluewater points with victories over Amherstburg and Essex on the weekend.
On Friday night in Chatham, Owen Lemieux stopped everything the Amherstburg Stars could fire at him to capture a 5-0 shutout. Team scoring came from Martin Boughner G(2), Notah Hopkins G(1) A(1), Zach McKinlay-Hultgren G(1) A(1), Brody Fraleigh G(1) A(1), Ethan Labadie A(1), and Reid Goodburn A(1).
On the road in Essex on Sunday the boys defeated Essex 7-4. Ian Campbell lead the Cobra scoring with G(2) and A(2). Other scorers were Martin Boughner G(1) A(2), Will McCracken G(1) A(2), Caleb Tryon G(1), Caley Whiteye G(1), Cole Tetreault G(1), Zach McKinlay-Hultgren A(1), Brody Fraleigh A(1), Ethan Labadie A(1), Adam Ross A(1), Notah Hopkins A(1), and Aiden Peel A(1). Connor O’Donohue was the winning goalie.
