The MInor Bantam Cobras captured another 4 points in Bluewater play this past weekend. The team picked up road league wins over Tecumseh and Erie North Shore.
The team almost let a 5-1 lead get away on them Friday night with a flurry of penalties in the third period. The boys held on for a 5-4 victory. Owen Lemieux picked up the victory in net. Team scoring came from Zach McKinlay-Hultgren G(1) A(2), Notah Hopkins G(1) A(1), Caleb Tryon G(1), Brody Fraleigh G(1), Caley Whiteye G(1), Reid Goodburn A(1), and Ethan Labadie A(1).
On Sunday the Cobras lit the lamp 8 times on their way to a 8-2 victory over Erie. The team scoring came from Brody Fraleigh G(2) A(1), Ethan Labadie G(2), Notah Hopkins G(1) A(1), Zach McKinlay-Hultgren G(1) A(2), Caleb Tryon G(1) A(1), Aidan Fitzmorris G(1), Ian Campbell A(2), Martin Boughner A(1), Cole Tetreault A(1), Adam Ross A(1), and Tadhg Copeland A(1). Connor O’Donohue was the winning goalie.
The Cobra’s Bluewater record now stands at 8-2-1. The boys next see action in Belle River on Saturday.
