Cobras Pick Up 3 Bluewater Pts.
This past weekend, the Minor Bantam Cobras picked up a win over the Riverside Rangers and a tie with the Lasalle Sabres.
On Friday night in Riverside, Martin Boughner started the Cobra scoring midway through the 3rd period with an assist going to Ethan Labadie. Cole Tetreault picked up a short-handed goal with 1:49 to go in the game to take a 2-0 lead. Connor O’Donodue had his shutout stolen with 12 seconds to go in the game but home the 2-1 win.
On Sunday the Cobras played in a rare double shutout game vs Lasalle. Owen Lemieux picked up the tie for Kent. He was also named the player of the game and wore home the prestigious DTI Reg Dunlop jacket.
The Cobra’s Bluewater record now stands at 9-6-2. The boys next see action Friday night as they host the Windsor Spitfires
