Feb 11 Game
Team effort
After some bad weather a couple days leading into the game, we all arrived at the arena and picked up were we left off, working as a team, and being great representatives of Kent Minor Hockey. Strathroy came out hard, and after a penalty Strathroy scored to go up 1-0. After a second penalty, we killed the penalty and Braiden came out of the penalty box, and skated in and ripped a bullet pass the goalie and tied the game 1-1. Between periods we ask the team to play our game. We did just that and 2:30 minutes into the period Zack scored on a great feed from Briaden. About 2 minutes later Jonah scored his first of two goals in the game. With just under 2 minutes left in the second Jonah scored his second of the game. After 2 periods the score was 4-1. Half way though the 3rd period Cole scored on a great feed form JJ. Less then a minute later Braiden scored his second goal on a pass from Justin. With just over 3 minutes left in the game, we had a slight bobble at our blue line, sending in a Strathroy player in on a break away. Final score 6-2. Was a tough physical game, the coach's were very pleased with the effort.
