PEEWEE AE COBRAS WIN FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON
The boys ran inot some hot goaltending against the Eagles but never gave up and outworked their opponents on every shift.
After a scoreless first period, the Cobras fell behind 1-0 early in the second. Dylan Craievich evened the score but the Eagles jumped back in front 2-1 two mins later. The Cobras pulled back even on a beautiful passing play with Brett Graves scoring and assists going to Cole Graves and Brydon Martin. The Eagles scored a nice goal of their own with 15 seconds left in the period to grab a 3-2 lead. Brenden Bellan scored 4 mins into the third to bring the game back to 3-3 with assist going to Brendan Lemieux. Then with 9:27 left in the game, Brydon Martin's point shot found the back of the net to put the Cobras ahead. The Eagles tried to mount a comeback but strong defensive play and some key saves from Jarrod Carr in the last few minutes extinguished Tecumseh's hopes. Way to go Cobras!!
