Peewee AE Cobras Drop Home Opener
The Cobras ran into a big and physical team from Belle River
After a good first period which found the Cobras trailing 1-0 Ryley Hammond evened the score at the midpoint of the second. Assists going to Brenden Bellan and Ryan Baker. The Canadiens struck for three goals in three minutes near the end of the secod. The Cobras battled hard in the third but Belle River scored twice more within one minute near the end of the third. The Kent boys never gave up though and Ryan Baker managed to bulge the twine with just 26 seconds remaining with assists going to Brett Graves and Brydon Martin. Jamie Turcotte was peppered with shots throughout the whole game and did his best to keep his team in the game. Great job Cobras not giving up and playing right till the final buzzer.
