Game 6 vs. Canadiens
The Rangers played a great back and forth battle with the Canadiens.

Coming into this game, the Rangers knew this was going to be a tough battle that could only be won by strong defence, maximum effort, and great goaltending.

I will begin by saying, wow, what a game!  It was back and forth.  For every Rangers goal, the Canadiens responded with a goal.  The Canadiens never gave up and had amazing goaltending.

Some quick game notes:
  • The play of Aiden Venhuizen was outstanding.  Aiden always has some of the toughest tasks on the ice and does so well with the responsibility.  Aiden continues to have a strong offensive presence, but is also quickly becoming one of the Rangers strongest defensive forwards.
  • This is a recording…  The Kaleb Wilson, Williem Seguin and Noah Wilson line had amazing chemistry once again.  At pone point in the game, and on one shift, this line had 10 shots on the net, made amazing passes and contributed to this being one of the most entertaining games of the season.
  • I would say that all in all, this was our best defensive game today.  Ethan Crow, Ethan Vandermeersch, Carter Evans, Aiden Solway Memphis Peatson, and Devon Wilson all had great games.  Every one of these defenceman stepped it up this game.  Awesome job defence and awesome job coach Jeff.
  • Devon Wilson.  What a game!!! What an improvement you have made.  You continue to work very hard on the ice, and today was your best performance to date!  Countless times I made comments to the other coaches who equally shared my thoughts on how well you played.  You kept the puck in the offensive zone, cleared the puck when you were the last man back and did such an outstanding job! Awesome job buddy!
  • Aiden Solway played another great game.  Today Aiden tried something that no other defenceman has done, he rushed the puck.  Not only did he rush the puck, he created a beautiful scoring chance.  On top of that, Williem Seguin, recognized that and dropped back to cover the point!!!!! This is not something the Rangers coaches have really covered with the kids.  Williem Seguin told me after the game that his dad had taught him that! Nice job Frank!!!
  • Even though Kassidy could not see most of the game with her hair in her face, she still made great saves and kept the Rangers in the game!

Points.
1 goal, 1 assist - Kaleb Wilson
1 goal, 1 assist - Williem Seguin
